Competition vs Lifestyle Chnage

Recently, I was asked 'how's your competition?'. I paused a little bit and didn't know how to answer. Yes, this is a competition but we worked out together as a team, as a family. I feel very touched that everybody is so encouraging. To me the most important thing is this is a program to help me learn and maintain a healthy lifestyle that I can eat and workout wisely and regularly even after the program is over. It's about the end of the third week - a quarter of the program has passed, honeymoon is over. Let's persist and fight a good fight.

  1. You rock! I love this attitude! I love that your mindset is , hey this is to train me how to live the rest of my life! Preach it!

  2. To some people the idea of competition helps motivate themselves to do their best. I am like you that didn't work for me. If I get too competitive everyone becomes my enemy and I can't celebrate their success. If I got too competitive unless I was always #1 I would be disappointed instead of celebrating my success. I took the competitive idea by setting goals for my individual workout sessions and then challenging myself to meet them. That way no one could take my successes away from me by what they did and I could enjoy what everyone else accomplished. Keep persisting and enjoy the results.
