Here are a few observations:
- Collectively, we shaved over 36 minutes off our time.
- Paula is the queen of improvement! Last year Jeanie and Becky were the only two to improve by 30% or more. Paula is the third member of that very cool club!
- Matt broke the 7:00 barrier! That’s about 47 seconds per lap. Wow.
- Last year’s fastest victory mile was 9:05. Kimberly beat that record by 44 seconds!
- A year ago, Jeanie’s initial mile was 20:56 and her victory mile was 13:22. Today, she ran a 12:06. Jeanie continues to amaze me!
- Several people were able to complete the entire mile without a walking break.
- Kayleen was unable to run the initial mile. Based on her time today, I think it’s safe to say that it would have been a substantial improvement!
- Edna was also unable to run the initial mile, but she did do a mile on the hand bike. Her initial mile was 10:20. Today it was 5:24. Wow!
