Carrying weight around

What an eye opening experience that was to carry the weight we've lost so far around, eye opening and painful. My arms are so sore right now and I could tell carrying 30 lbs extra was wearing my body down minute by minute. I can't even imagine how amazing I'm going to feel when I have ALL of this extra weight off, I knew I was feeling better, not as tired, more energy but it was such a slow process that it didn't make that big of an impact every week to lose that 30 lbs and it wasn't as noticeable as it is when you grab two 15 pound weights and carry them up and down stairs and around the track. This was such a great mental exercise for me, it was a huge ah-ha moment for me and to think, I have so much more to lose. I can't imagine how awesome it's going to feel but I will tell you that I am REALLY looking forward to it now. I hope I can go up to Rick this time next year and say "I have arrived." but even if it takes a little longer than a year I will get there and I'm so excited for each and every pound to disappear and never come back.

  1. I LOVE those Ah-Ha Moments!!! It is such a great physical reminder of all your hard work and I am so glad it meant so much to you, to affect how you feel looking forward to losing the rest of the weight you want to lose!
To disappear those pounds and never come back! Carrying those weights is a great way to remember that!
