TV Timeout

Life has been hectic recently. My job is usually really stressful, and I would  consistently work 50 hour weeks. I would go in 2 hours early almost every day so I could try to stay caught up. It's been hard to catch up when I'm working out every morning instead of sitting at my desk.

At the beginning of the program Rick and Tina told us that BMSW will prepare us for the real world. We aren't at the fitness ranch spending every waking moment working out. We have to balance jobs, kids, school, and everything else. I'm thankful for this lesson and the chance to learn how to prioritize what I do with my time.

This week Stephanie and I decided to unplug our TV's. We found ourselves watching a show here or there, and could be spending 2 hours of our day in front of the TV. I'm excited to how much more productive we feel this week, as well as to see how we spend our time relaxing. Maybe it means a nice leisurely bike ride around town together, instead of an episode of MasterChef (Can you believe I actually watch that show now? It's like I enjoy the torture).
