What plan are you on?

I posted my weight loss on my Facebook Monday after weigh in. I had a friend private message me saying it looked like I was doing great & ask what plan I was on. To be honest, I've probably been on about every diet out there at one point or another. I don't even want to think about how much money I've spent on supplements and shakes and programs. I can't imagine how many pounds I've lost & gained over the last 20 years or so. Anyway, I explained that I was a contestant in BMSW2 and told her about our workouts and how I being mindful of what I was eating and making more healthy choices. It felt great to be able to say I wasn't on a "plan." The plan was to learn a healthy lifestyle that I can maintain long after these 12 weeks are over.

On another note, I have not felt well this week and I've really struggled with food. I talked to Bev this morning. I am not proud of my food diary right now.  Most days I've been under my calorie goal. I know I have not ate enough fruits/veggies. I hope I wake up feeling better. I took the day off because I have so many things to do before the kids start school Tuesday. One of those is going to the grocery and restocking my fridge with produce.

  1. I have had people ask me the same thing...they expect a one or two word answer to what food plan we are following...meaning trendy diet...
Glad the program is smarter than our culture!
So glad you talked to Bev. Hope you feel better quickly!

  2. Why people like programs is that programs are temporary. They want something that they suffer for a short time and then go back to their old way of living. We are learning how to live different and better. Sure you are living more strict now, but it is as you live differently after the program that you will continue to success and keep the success.
