Was a little upset with my weigh in last night. Have to reminding myself it was the first week and my body is going through a lot of changes.  Did have a good work out this morning in the pool. Thanks to Kim for coming and  helping me.

  1. Try to remember all the things you have to celebrate!
You are getting up and getting workouts in, even though your restrictions make it so you cannot do the group workouts.
You are not using your injury as an excuse to be inactive.
You are changing how you eat for a lifetime and you have access to professional nutritionists to help you.
    And
I don't know HOW you could have a more supportive spouse!
I am so very proud of you!
    Try to remember all this.
The scale will catch up with all your hard work!

  2. Your journey will be a different one. It will not be quick and might seem frustrating, but staying focused and committed will allow the Lord to work and bring you blessings. All you can do is stay faithful to what you have control over and allow God to be responsible for the rest.

  3. I just wanted to let you know that seeing you participate with an injury has been inspiring. I had a major knee injury several years ago. I was in a brace for a long time. I understand how much harder everything is when you are recovering from an injury. Just putting the boot on/off is hard work! Walking in/out/around the office is a challenge and you are working out in the pool on top of that!! It stinks that you didn't see the results on the scale you wanted to this week, but I hope you can see other victories. I am sure if you keep it up you will be rewarded with weight loss and a new, healthier lifestyle.
