I could not believe how much sugar I ate.....
I always told my doctors, wellness coach, family and friends that I don't drink pop or eat sweets that often, my high glucose level is probably caused by my high intake of rice or noodle. Thanks for Frank's tip -- yesterday, I logged in what I planned to eat before I ate. I thought it should be safe to eat one banana as an afternoon snack. To my surprise, after I added a banana to myfitnesspal, the sugar level went over and gave me a red warning! This scared me. I decided not to eat it and was wondering what I can eat to get enough calories for the day. I ended up eating raw broccoli, carrots, celeries and tomatoes at a church seminar. Thank God that He knows what I need and didn't give me too much temptation :-) .

Glad to see you are using MyFitnessPal to help you analyze what you are eating and to use the information to help make good choices for you.
ReplyDeleteI didn't log before I ate today and fell out of range (again) -- fruits really have a lot of sugar :-(
ReplyDeleteI figured that out too by using my fitness pal. I was eating things that I thought would be healthy and is amazing when you get to see it all broken down for you. It is definitely going to be a great learning experience for me.
