First Weigh In

I have been so nervous for tonight's first weigh in.  I had such a rough Sunday because I was so worried about how tonight was going to go.  It has been killing me not to be able to weigh myself.  When I came in to work today, I and talked to a few people and found I wasn't the only one who was stressing about this.  It made me feel much better to know the way I felt all day Sunday was totally normal.  I am sure it is probably pretty normal to all people going through their own weight loss journey, even if it isn't quite on the same scale (no pun intended).  I really need to remember this feeling for next week and know that I truly did my best, so no matter what number comes up on the scale next time, I should be proud.

  1. You are right everyone gets nervous about the weigh ins. The thing to remember is that you can't control the scale. All you can control is your eating and exercise. You need to concentrate on doing your best there trusting the system and then if you are confident with what you did just accept whatever the scale has to say and learn from it.

  2. Yes, next week come back and re-read this before weigh ins. Everyone stresses about weigh in. Better to use it as a tool to follow well , the nutritionists and trainers plans for you. And try to focus on all you have accomplished and improved on during the week. Lifestyle changes and habits for life, bigger deal than the number on the scale for one week.

  3. I like the post and Dick's comment. All we can control are our own eating and exercise and following the trainer's and nutritionist's advice.
