I've had so much anxiety and excitement and fear and happiness coming to the end of the program that I kept starting to blog and then didn't know what else to say. I don't want this to be my final blog so I'm not going to get all sappy ... (yet) but I do want to say that I am experiencing so many emotions about this being the last "real" week of routine things we are doing. We just received an email that Thursday will be our last "Thursday workout" and for me that brought on so many feelings. I know we are all going to do great things and continue to work on our journeys of being the healthiest versions of us there are and I know we will all be there for accountability and encouragement but we won't all be in the same place together any longer doing exactly what each other is doing. This makes me a little sad. We won't all be meeting up to celebrate the week's losses together and learning best nutrition practices on Monday night anymore. This makes me a little sad too. We will be out on our own trusting the tools that we have been given to do things the right way and be amazing all on our own. This makes me excited and a little nervous. I have so much to say to all of you about what a blessing you have been to me and how much I am going to miss all of this and also how I know we can all do this and how proud I am of all of us but that will be another blog, another day because it's not over just yet and I'm going to hold on for as long as I can... :)
Also, because I know he reads my blogs, Happy 15th Anniversary my love!
Yes things will change. It will be like leaving for college. Some will continue working out and you will encourage each other but it won't be like the program where you were a large group set off and working together. There will be greater opportunities to build other great relationships. Get involved in some of the groups and see what relationships can develop there. The FWSW also is a great option. We have weigh-ins on Thursdays you can come to and weigh-in joining in the celebrations. Some of the trainers do some workouts for the alumni and you can come and be a part of those. Don't think that the trainers and nutritionists no longer care. If you have questions you can email them and they are willing to help. How great it was for me when I came close to my maintaining stage Bev not only responded to my emails but she also had me meet with her at Spiece to sit down face to face to discuss how to handle the new stage I would be going into.
