New future
So I was watching an interview of Chris Pratt after he lost all his weight and he was telling the interviewer how he had to give up drinking and going out and instead spent tons of time in the gym. The interviewer asked what he had to give up right away and he replied "Fun." I thought it was pretty funny at the time but I have not found that it is true for me at all. I am trying new things and get to go through this process with some of the coolest people. It's just really exciting getting to change the path that my life was on to a new one. I feel so blessed to be a part of this process and can't wait to see what the future might hold.

I have had to turn down invitations to a couple of things I've been invited to due to food or drink options not being in my best interest but not once have I thought I was missing out or not having "fun", I completely agree with you that this process is fun, the people are fun and the adventure is fun, it's the hardest fun I've ever had to work for but I don't feel like I am missing out on anything. Thank you for this post, it definitely hit home and I can't wait to see what the future holds for all of us either. :)
