My first attempt was on Monday. I found Deb Burlison and Tina Troyer in the gym making their attempts, too. I felt good, but 64
floors into it, I had a sharp pain in my right knee. I rested it for a few minutes,
but when I started to climb again, it continued. I decided to stop because I did not want an injury; I really don't want to miss out on workouts, but I was really bummed out. I was able to walk afterwards
with no pain, though. I sometimes get that pain in my knee when I run, too. It's very intermittent.
I made my second attempt last evening. I set the machine to
4.0 floors per minute and completed the challenge in 27 minutes! Woo-hoo! I was so happy. There was no pain in my knee at all this time.

Good job at listening to your body. Don't want you to injure yourself. Welcome to the 100 floor club. You are really pushing yourself and celebrating the victories.
ReplyDeleteGreat job at both attempts! Way to be careful,
