Jacob's Ladder

I wasn't sure what Jacob's ladder would be like. As I started, I thought I can do this! I was off to a great start and maintained the appropriate number. Then about one and a half minutes into the three minute drill, it hit me hard. I had to take a short break. I was breathing so hard. My heart was beating so fast. My legs were fatigued. Wow, is this a workout! Rick wanted me to go to two and a half minutes, and I did. It was definitely a challenge though. I hope next time I can keep going and complete the three minute drill without stopping. I look forward to doing this again, and getting better each time. What a challenge!

  1. And when you do finish your 3 minutes and get a new PR (personal record!), it is going to be a great feeling!
New goals, new personal records, they can be really cool , exciting and addicting!

  2. Toni what you have experienced is your starting marker for Jacob. You know what you could do the first time you were on it. Now you just keep setting goals of increments of longer time and achieve that goal. As you keep doing it that way you will have the victories to celebrate and will grow in your ability to conquer Jacob. You are doing good and will be doing even better.
