Coffee truck?!?

A coffee truck at work??  Do they not know that my biggest addiction and love is French vanilla cappuccino?  Good thing I’m not really into the fancy shmancy kind you get at the coffee shops, I like the good ‘ole gas station machines.  The warmth of them especially on a cool day is so comforting to me.  I am proud to say that I’ve not had one since 2 weeks before the program.  But every time I walk past the machine here at work, I want to grab just a shot.  I know though, the shot will lead to a small cup, then a bigger cup, then the 16 oz I was having every morning and the everyday cravings would be back.

So – I’m in the hunt for an alternative.  I really don’t like coffee in general (LOVE LOVE LOVE the smell – sometimes I brew some at home just for the smell….don’t judge).  I’m not a huge tea person either (can’t get past the smell).  I do drink green tea every once in a blue moon, but that’s not the same as the milky creamy vanillany (yup…I make up words) taste of the cappuccino.  I think moreover, it’s the fact that I’m fighting an addiction and am proud to say I’m winning J

  1. I know Edna hated to see that truck come yesterday as well. You all did well and stayed away from it. Last year the change at the company we saw was the salad bar which was a good thing for us. This year your group is facing a change that is a challenge for you - the food trucks. All of you are doing well making the right choices even when the temptations are brought to your doorstep. Good job.

About alternatives to coffee I have no idea I never really got into that habit.
