Friday challenge
The first Friday challenge brought a different 'feel' to our workouts. We worked individually. I chose to do a 1/3 mile walking warm-up to help with some of the soreness. I finished the morning with 60  total minutes on the elliptical broken into a 20 minute segment and a 40 minute segment. Caution: the elliptical machine does a restart after 35 minutes, so after I restarted it at the 35 minute mark, I went 25 minutes more ( I never stopped pedaling ). Becky was kind enough to explain that without other programming, the elliptical will go for 30 minutes + a 5 minute cool-down.

Great job of working out on the machine and deciding on the warm up. The Friday challenges help each person better fit the program to their needs as well as give them the confidence that they will know what to do and how to do it when they come into the gym on their own. Watch your weekend so you can have a good weigh-in on Monday.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the elliptical! I was so worried about not being able to do it for the full 30 minutes so I walked for my "challenge" but that is AWESOME that you were able to go the whole time. Woohoo!!
